Supplied as a pack of two, TheraBand Cuff Weights provide a simple way to add extra resistance to an exercise programme while keeping the hands free. They can be worn around either the wrists or ankles, allowing them to be incorporated into a wide variety of upper and lower body exercises at home, in the gym or during rehabilitation.

Three weights are available for different levels of resistance. Red weighs 0.5kg, Green weighs 0.7kg and Blue weighs 1.1kg. The different colours make each weight easy to recognise, which is particularly useful when progressing between resistance levels as strength develops.

A neoprene exterior gives the cuffs a flexible and durable finish, while the soft terrycloth interior provides a comfortable surface against the skin. The terrycloth also helps absorb moisture during exercise and is non-abrasive for greater comfort during repeated use.

An adjustable strap allows the cuff to be fitted securely around the wrist or ankle. As the resistance is carried on the limb rather than held in the hand, the weights can be particularly useful for exercises where the hands need to remain free or where conventional handheld weights are less practical.

The cuffs can be incorporated into strength training as well as balance and stabilisation exercises. Reflective trim also provides additional visibility when exercising outdoors.
