The TheraBand Stability Trainer provides an unstable surface for progressive balance and stability exercises. Suitable for rehabilitation, post-rehabilitation conditioning and general fitness, it can be used to introduce an additional balance challenge to a variety of standing and movement-based exercises.

Two colour-coded densities are available to make progression easy to identify. The Blue Stability Trainer has a Soft density, creating the greater balance challenge, while the Green Stability Trainer has a Firm density for a more stable exercise surface. This allows the appropriate level to be selected according to ability and the aims of the exercise programme.

The oval-shaped trainer is made from durable PVC with closed-cell foam and incorporates different textures on each side. One surface features tactile points that provide additional sensory input for sensorimotor exercises, while the opposite side has anti-skid bars to improve contact and stability during use.

Regular balance exercises can be incorporated into programmes intended to develop muscular control, coordination and overall stability. The trainer is suitable for a broad range of environments, including physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinics, gyms and the home, making it useful for both supervised sessions and appropriate independent exercise.

Designed to cope with frequent use, the TheraBand Stability Trainer has a durable, wipe-clean surface for straightforward cleaning between sessions. Its relatively compact format also makes it convenient to store or transport when required.
