Product Details
The AL-04 Alexander Universal Bed Raiser (Single Frame) is designed to be used as a pair or more to raise a bed. Normally a pair of raisers will raise a bed, but for single beds having 6 castors/legs an additional single raiser is required to support the beds mid-section. It is also likely that one will be required for a double divan bed that has castors supporting the mid-section of the bed. This raiser is also capable of raising most profiling beds due to its high weight limit. The raiser is height and length adjustable. Once fitted the bed is capable of being repositioned around the room, for relocation or vacuuming purposes without fear of the raiser becoming dislodged. You will need to add the correct fittings as below to suit your bed.
The AL-03 Furniture Disc Raiser is also available here (sold in singles) as the base for raising a bed. If you opt for this option, you will need to add the appropriate fixings as follows...
Fixing parts available include the angle bracket, single castor or twin castor fittings, flat plates and square cups for various sizes.
You can also buy the EXT-B2 Extender Bar for wider beds here. This is not for use with the AL-03 Furniture Disc Raiser.
Value-for-money ready-made pairs and sets of 3 raiser frames with fixings are also available:
AL-05 pair comprises of two AL-04 bed raiser frames with 4 round cups for castors. This is EA13464. There is an option to buy 3 frames for castors there too.

Fittings for the Raisers:
- AL-10 Round Cup 6cm diameter is suitable for a single castor
- AL-06 is used to support the two castors located in the middle of a double divan bed. One Twin Cup will be required for each side of the bed
- AL-07 Attaches directly to the bed base framework using screws. 12 cm long
- AL08 For furniture with round or square legs. It can be clamped in position onto the bed leg for total security:
- AL08-3 is 9 x 9cm and suitable for legs up to 7cm wide
- AL08-4 is 11.5 x 11cm and suitable for legs up to 10cm wide
- AL-09 & AL09-LG fix directly to the furniture legs/feet from underneath using the fixing screws supplied. It is particularly useful on large legged modern furniture. Size: 7.5cm square
- AL-09 is called a Flat Plate and raises from 8.5 to 12.5cm
- AL09-LG is the Flat Plate Tall and raises 13.5 to 17.5cm - AL11 Designed to accommodate legs that are set at an angle where the 4 sided cup might not be suitable:
- AL11-3 is 9 x 9cm and suitable for angled legs up to 7cm wide
- AL11-4 is 11.5 x 11cm and suitable for angled legs up to 10cm wide
