The Alerta Bariatric Evacuation Sledge is designed to provide a safe and efficient way to move larger users to safety in an emergency.
The individual is placed on the sledge, secured with the extra-long chest and leg straps, and guided to safety using the strong pulling straps at either end. A built-in foot pouch offers additional stability, while the flexible construction and slippery underside allow smooth handling through doorways and down staircases.
To ensure readiness, the sledge folds into three for compact storage and comes supplied in a wall-mountable zip bag, making it quick to access when required. With a maximum user weight of 350kg, it is robustly built for bariatric use and is designed for two-person evacuation.
