This Evacuation Sledge facilitates assisted emergency escape while the patient remains on their back.
The top foam layer is soft to maintain comfort, while the lower layer is firm and designed to slide across carpets, concrete, stairs and other obstacles.
A large foot pocket holds the patient's lower body in position, while safety belts secure the top half.
The underside has a slippery coating to enable rapid evacuation.
The Evacuation Sledge requires two people for deployment.
It is suitable for users weighing up to 153kg (24 stone) and is supplied with a storage pouch which can be hung on a wall.
