The Propad Pressure Care Mattress Overlay is a clinically proven solution designed to transform a standard mattress into an effective pressure redistribution surface. Ideal for individuals at high risk of developing pressure ulcers (Waterlow Score 15+), it offers outstanding comfort and protection.
Made from high-quality castellated foam, the overlay conforms to the body and adjusts with movement, evenly distributing weight to reduce pressure points. Its geometrically cut surface reduces shear and friction, making repositioning easier and more comfortable.
The overlay is supplied with a multi-stretch, vapour-permeable, water-resistant cover that helps maintain skin integrity while allowing moisture to escape. An anti-slip base ensures the overlay stays securely in place on top of the existing mattress.

Excellent pressure care prevention overlay
Review by Lesslie Posted on 24/02/2025 23:26:53This is my third propad overlay. They don’t last for ever, but had 8 years wear out of last one. The latest one has a blue cover rather than pink. Great that it is available in various bed sizes. It stays in place on top of the mattress with no slipping. Needs turning from top to bottom to even out wear. unlike memory foam, no issues with sinking in & not being able to move. apart from protecting me from pressure ulcers, it makes bed making easy. I simple put sheet round overlay rather than it & mattress. -

Bedingham Posted on 23/10/2024 12:11:56Excellent mattress topper thicker than expected extremely comfortable I use a wheelchair every day so am susceptible to pressure sores , I have tried numerous types of memory foam mattresses but they don’t work, this mattress is perfect and have had the best nights sleep i’ve had in years , would highly recommended.
