The Apollo Pro Plus Pressure Relief Mattress is a bariatric dynamic replacement system designed for individuals at very high risk of developing pressure ulcers, including those with existing tissue damage (grades 1–4).
Its advanced ‘cell-in-cell’ configuration combines alternating therapy with a static base to ensure consistent support, enhanced comfort, and effective pressure redistribution. The mattress also features manual weight adjustment to suit each user’s body shape and position, providing tailored pressure care.
With a maximum user weight of 55 stone (350kg), the Apollo Pro Plus is specifically designed for larger users, offering durability without compromising on comfort. A range of safety features, including audio and visual alarms, a CPR release function, and an autofirm option for safe transfers, make this system reliable in high-demand care settings.
Additional features such as a seat switch for upright positioning, timed static mode, and humidity management support both patient wellbeing and good nursing practice. The multi-stretch PU cover is waterproof, vapour permeable, antibacterial, and fire retardant, ensuring infection control and easy maintenance.
