The Argyll Hybrid Pressure Relief Mattress is a high-specification support surface developed for individuals at high to very high risk of developing pressure ulcers. It combines the benefits of reactive foam therapy and dynamic alternating pressure in a single mattress, allowing care teams to respond to a patient’s changing clinical needs without needing to swap equipment.

This dual functionality simplifies pressure area care in both acute and community settings, offering flexibility for patients who may initially require a static surface but later benefit from alternating therapy. Transitioning between static and active modes can be done within seconds by simply connecting the digital control unit—reducing downtime and manual handling.

The Argyll Hybrid features foam-filled air cells that evenly distribute pressure along the body, while a visco-elastic foam leg section specifically targets the heel area—redistributing pressure toward the calf and supporting offloading in a clinically important zone. The CME foam side walls and base help maintain stability during patient transfers, reducing the risk of sinking or tipping at the edges.

A semi-automatic control unit provides alternating and constant low-pressure modes, with air cells that inflate automatically to suit the user's comfort and therapeutic needs. The digital interface is intuitive and includes both audible and visual alerts for low pressure or power loss, with an optional mute function for patient comfort.
