The Corus 4000 Pressure Relief Mattress is designed for individuals at very high risk of developing pressure ulcers. This static foam mattress helps to relieve and redistribute pressure by moulding to the shape of the body, supporting vulnerable areas such as the hips, shoulders, and heels.
It features a 3-zone castellated foam top layer, which is specially cut to allow targeted pressure relief while encouraging airflow across the surface. The firm foam base adds stability and maintains mattress shape over time, even under regular use.
The reinforced sides provide extra edge support, which helps with bed transfers and improves overall stability when getting in and out of bed. This can be particularly beneficial for users with reduced mobility.
The vapour-permeable, waterproof PU cover protects the mattress from fluid ingress while allowing air to circulate. It has welded seams and a concealed zip, making it easier to clean and supporting infection control protocols.
