The Dyna-Form Maximus Bariatric Mattress provides pressure redistribution and comfortable support specifically for bariatric users. With a substantial maximum user weight of 413kg (65 st), its high-density CME foam construction is designed to accommodate heavier loads while helping prevent the mattress from bottoming out during use.

The supportive foam surface distributes weight across a wider area, helping manage pressure for users considered to be at High Risk of pressure ulcer development. Its 15cm (5.9") depth and carefully selected foam density provide a stable surface that also assists when repositioning or transferring to and from the bed.

Supplied as standard at 120cm (47.2") wide, the Maximus offers considerably more sleeping space than a conventional single pressure care mattress. Alternative dimensions can also be produced to accommodate different bariatric bed frames, making it suitable for environments where specialist bed sizes are required.

A durable multi-stretch, vapour-permeable cover allows the surface to move with the user, helping reduce friction and shear while supporting moisture management. The fabric contains an anti-fungal agent and can be laundered at temperatures up to 80°C to assist with routine infection control procedures.

The underside features a toughened polyurethane non-slip base, providing additional protection against fluid penetration and hydrolysis while helping prevent the mattress from moving on the bed frame.
