The Elite 4000 Pressure Relief Mattress is a high-performance static foam mattress designed to support individuals at very high risk of developing pressure ulcers. Engineered with precision-cut transverse foam, it contours to the user’s body, reducing peak pressure points and helping to maintain healthy circulation. The transverse castellated foam surface helps to lower both interface pressure and friction, two key contributors to skin breakdown. Internally, channels built into the foam structure promote airflow beneath the user, helping to manage moisture levels and reduce the risk of skin maceration—especially important for individuals with compromised skin integrity.

Durability is a key advantage of the Elite 4000. The mattress is turnable and includes printed rotation indicators, which help with routine turning and maintenance to maximise product life. The fully enclosed cover is constructed from a two-way stretch PU fabric that is waterproof, vapour-permeable, and soft to the touch.
