The High Risk Pressure Mattress is expertly engineered to support individuals at high risk of developing pressure ulcers, making it a reliable choice for use in hospitals, care homes, or home care environments. It combines advanced pressure redistribution properties with patient comfort and durability.

At the core of the mattress is a specialist castellated foam design, featuring smaller castellations in the heel area and larger cells in the sacral zone. This provides targeted pressure relief where it’s needed most. A reinforced Combustion Modified High Resilient (CMHR) foam base ensures long-lasting performance and helps prevent bottoming out, even with prolonged use.

The mattress is encased in a multi-stretch, vapour-permeable cover, designed to minimise shear and friction forces while supporting infection control measures. The fabric is impregnated with an antifungal agent, helping maintain hygiene in demanding care settings.

To further enhance infection control, the cover is available in either a fully sewn or high-frequency welded version—the latter offering a seamless, fluid-proof surface that can be laundered up to 80°C. The mattress also features a toughened polyurethane, non-slip base, providing a protective barrier against fluid ingress and physical wear.
