The Softform Premier Activecare Hybrid System is designed to provide advanced pressure management for users at high risk of pressure damage. It combines a high-specification foam mattress with an integrated air system, allowing it to function as either a static or dynamic surface depending on user needs.

In its standard mode, the mattress offers a supportive foam base designed to distribute weight evenly and maintain comfort over extended periods of bed rest. When additional pressure relief is required, the system can be converted to an alternating air surface using the supplied pump. This activates a series of air cells within the mattress, which inflate and deflate in cycles to help reduce sustained pressure on vulnerable areas.

The digital pump features an LCD interface for straightforward adjustment and control, with alternating cycles typically operating every 10 minutes. This dynamic function is intended to support pressure redistribution without the need to reposition the user as frequently.

The mattress is supplied with a multi-stretch, vapour-permeable PU cover, helping to manage moisture and support infection control. The base includes a durable PU coating to help extend product life, particularly in higher-use care environments.
