The Alerta Sensaflex 4500 SensaGel Heel Slope Mattress is a very high-risk profiling memory foam mattress, designed to deliver effective pressure relief and comfort for users in hospital, nursing, and care home environments.
Built with a high-density foam base and a memory foam top layer, the mattress features a sloping heel section that redistributes pressure away from the vulnerable heel area. The SensaGel heel section, made from gel-infused memory foam, further protects against the development of pressure ulcers in this high-risk zone.
For enhanced performance, the base foam incorporates v-cut sections that encourage airflow, improving both comfort and pressure redistribution. The mattress is fitted with a multi-stretch, vapour-permeable PU cover that is water resistant, machine washable, and antimicrobial, with a white underside to ensure correct orientation.
