The Surface Memory Advance Mattress is a premium pressure relief mattress designed for individuals at high to very high risk of pressure ulcers. Engineered with visco elastic memory foam and a castellated zoned surface, it delivers exceptional pressure redistribution, comfort, and support for long-term care and medical environments.
Featuring a U-Core design, the mattress offers firm sidewall support to assist with safer and easier patient transfers. The waterproof, two-way stretch cover promotes breathability and includes welded seams and a fully concealed zip beneath a protective full-length water flap, enhancing both hygiene and durability.
Built for long-term performance, the mattress castellated foam construction that conforms well to electric profiling bed frames and promotes air circulation for a healthier microclimate. This design actively addresses the key pressure ulcer risk factors of pressure and shear, as recommended by the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel.
For optimal infection control, the zip is fully protected against fluid ingress with a welded, not sewn, flap. The cover zips off on all four sides, with both the top and bottom panels fully removable allowing for easy internal inspection and cost-effective part replacements.
