The Alerta Air Cushion is designed to help prevent pressure ulcers and support the treatment of stage 1 and 2 pressure damage. Suitable for all users, including those assessed as high risk, it offers an effective and practical seating solution for pressure relief in both home and clinical settings.
Inflated manually using the included pump, the air cells redistribute weight and reduce pressure on vulnerable areas, helping to protect the skin during extended periods of sitting. The cushion is suitable for use on most chairs and wheelchairs, offering flexibility and ease of setup.
Once cleaned, the cushion can be safely reused by another user, making it a cost-effective option for shared care environments. Clinical supervision is recommended if the user has more severe skin damage.
