The Alerta Sensaflo Hybrid Cushion is designed to support users at very high risk of developing pressure ulcers. Suitable for use in hospitals, care homes, and at home, it offers flexibility between static and alternating pressure care without needing to move the user.

The cushion contains foam-filled air cells and a gel-infused memory foam topper, helping to distribute pressure evenly and improve circulation. It can be used on its own as a static pressure relief cushion, or connected to a pump to work as an alternating air system, offering active pressure redistribution when required.

Switching between modes is simple and doesn’t require removing the cushion or the user. When inflated and sealed with the transport cap, the cushion becomes a semi-active balanced-air system, adjusting to the user's needs automatically.

The system features SensaCare Truflo Technology®, which continuously monitors pressure and regulates airflow for consistent low interface pressure. The pump operates quietly, helping to create a calm environment and support user comfort over longer periods of use.

The multi-stretch PU cover is vapour permeable, water resistant, and antimicrobial, with welded seams to support infection control. It’s also machine washable, and the cover's white underside helps with visual checks.

For added safety and ease of use, the system includes visual and audible alarms for low pressure, and a transport mode for temporary use without power. The cushion cells are independently removable, and the pump can be mounted using its integrated hanging brackets.
