The Dyna-Flex Pressure Cushion uses two complementary foam layers to provide pressure care and comfort for users considered to be at High Risk of pressure ulcer development. Particularly well suited to wheelchair use, it supports a maximum user weight of 222kg (35 st).
A temperature-sensitive viscoelastic memory foam surface responds to body warmth, gradually softening and moulding around the seated area. This helps spread weight more evenly across the cushion and provides comfortable pressure redistribution without relying on a powered system. Beneath it, a firmer CME foam base provides additional support and helps prevent bottoming out.
Practical features make the Dyna-Flex suitable for regular use in care environments. Its multi-stretch, vapour-permeable cover helps reduce friction and shear while allowing moisture vapour to escape. High-frequency welded seams help protect against fluid ingress, and the cover can be laundered at temperatures up to 95°C and cleaned with diluted hypochlorite solution.
