SPECIAL OFFER dyna form mercury advance alternating cushion

Product Details

The Dyna-Form Mercury Advance Alternating Cushion is designed to help prevent and manage pressure ulcers for users considered to be at very high risk of skin breakdown. Combining the comfort and stability of a foam cushion with the option of dynamic alternating pressure therapy, it provides flexible seating support that can be adapted as clinical needs change.

The cushion can be used as a high-performance foam support surface or switched to alternating pressure therapy when additional pressure relief is required. As a person's condition improves, it can be returned to foam mode without replacing the cushion, reducing disruption and helping to simplify pressure care.

Designed using medical-grade foam cell technology, the cushion promotes effective pressure redistribution while providing postural support for users with minor positioning needs. The ischial tuberosity well helps relieve pressure beneath the sitting bones, improving comfort during extended periods of sitting.

The easy-to-use power unit includes automatic pressure adjustment to match the individual's needs, along with a comfort selection mode to fine-tune support. Static mode can be selected for transfers or care procedures, while the integrated CPR function allows rapid deflation if required. Clear LED indicators and audible alarms notify carers if low pressure or a system fault is detected.

The high-frequency welded, multi-stretch cover is waterproof, vapour permeable and compatible with infection control procedures. A protective zip flap helps reduce the risk of fluid ingress, while the large ring-pull zip is easier to operate for people with arthritis or reduced hand strength. Individual foam cells can also be replaced if required, helping to extend the life of the cushion and reduce maintenance costs.
