The Dyna-Tek Gel Cushion is intended for users considered to be at very high risk of pressure ulcer development. Suitable for wheelchairs, care environments and home use, it combines a solid polyurethane gel surface with a supportive CME foam base to provide effective pressure redistribution during prolonged sitting.

The complete gel surface distributes pressure across the cushion while providing a slight cooling effect at the skin surface. A centralised pommel supports positioning and postural management, helping the user maintain a more stable seated position.

Beneath the gel, high-quality CME foam provides a supportive foundation and helps reduce the risk of bottoming out. The firmer base also provides greater stability when transferring on or off the cushion.

A multi-stretch, vapour-permeable cover helps reduce shear and friction while allowing heat and moisture vapour to escape. It is impregnated with an anti-fungal agent, can be laundered at temperatures up to 80°C and is compatible with diluted hypochlorite solution for easier infection control. A non-slip underside helps keep the cushion securely positioned on the chair.
