The Dyna-Tek Pad Cushion is designed to provide effective pressure redistribution for users considered to be at risk of pressure ulcer development. Suitable for wheelchairs, hospitals and home care environments, it offers comfortable everyday seating while helping to reduce pressure on vulnerable areas.
The cushion is manufactured from specialist CME foam with a castellated surface, allowing pressure to be distributed more evenly while encouraging airflow through the cushion. This helps reduce the build-up of heat and moisture, improving comfort during prolonged periods of sitting.
A multi-stretch, vapour-permeable cover helps minimise shear and friction against the skin while supporting infection control procedures. The cover is treated with an anti-fungal agent, helps prevent fluid ingress and can be laundered at temperatures up to 80°C. A welded cover option is also available for enhanced fluid resistance.
The non-slip base helps keep the cushion securely in position during use, providing additional stability when transferring or repositioning. To help maximise the product's lifespan, individual components can be replaced if required, reducing maintenance costs over time.
