The Dyna-Tek Superior Pressure Cushion is designed for users considered to be At Risk of pressure ulcer development. Suitable for hospital, nursing, homecare and other seated environments, it combines a castellated CME foam surface with a supportive high-density base to provide effective pressure redistribution.
Its castellated surface allows the foam sections to move more independently around the seated body, improving conformity and helping distribute pressure. The cut foam structure also encourages airflow through the cushion, helping reduce the build-up of heat and moisture during prolonged periods of sitting.
A reinforced high-density foam base gives the cushion a stable foundation, helping prevent bottoming out while supporting long-term durability. The cushion accommodates users weighing up to 127kg (20 st).
For easier cleaning and infection control, the Dyna-Tek Superior features a multi-stretch, vapour-permeable cover impregnated with an anti-fungal agent. High-frequency welded seams help prevent fluid ingress, and the cover can be laundered at temperatures up to 80°C. A non-slip underside helps keep the cushion in position.
