When activated, the unit emits a loud alert tone accompanied by a bright flashing light to help attract attention from carers, family members or nearby people. Four different alert tones are available, allowing the user to select the most suitable option for their environment, while the adjustable volume control helps tailor the alarm to individual requirements.
