The Wireless Chair Mat Call System is a discreet and reliable monitoring aid designed to alert carers or family members when someone rises from a chair or begins to move unexpectedly. The system works using a pressure-sensitive chair mat connected to a wireless transmitter. When pressure is released from the mat, an alert is sent to the portable pager within a range of up to 30 metres, allowing carers to respond promptly. To help reduce unnecessary alerts, the transmitter can be set to trigger either immediately or with a short two-second delay, which is helpful if the user frequently shifts position while seated.

The pager offers flexible alert options, including an audible alarm, vibration, or a combination of both, alongside a flashing visual indicator. A broken-link warning provides reassurance by alerting the carer if the pager moves out of range or loses connection.
