The Gelcell G2 Pressure Relief Cushion is a high-performance seating solution designed for individuals at high risk of developing pressure ulcers. Combining the benefits of air and silicone-based gel technology, the cushion offers advanced pressure redistribution, comfort, and stability—ideal for wheelchair users or anyone needing extended sitting support.
What sets the Gelcell G2 apart is its dual air chamber system, which provides greater stability and enhanced pressure redistribution, particularly beneath the buttocks and Ischial Tuberosities. This twin-chamber design promotes improved postural control and minimises unwanted tilt or movement while seated.
Each cell within the cushion is covered with TruGel, a silicone-based gel that is impact-dampening, promotes skin protection, and has a cooling effect—helping to regulate temperature and reduce shear forces. The contoured rear cell layout supports a natural postural tilt, contributing to user comfort and alignment.
The cushion is constructed from three layers of durable polyurethane (PU) film, making it puncture-resistant, incontinence-friendly, and easy to wipe clean. Lightweight and portable, the Gelcell G2 is also simple to inflate and adjust to meet individual needs.
Supplied complete with an outer cover and pump, the Gelcell G2 offers an excellent combination of pressure care, hygiene, and practical support—making it a smart choice for clinical and home environments alike.
