The Alerta Emerald 2 Airflow Mattress is suitable for home and professional care settings where a higher level of pressure management is required. This airflow mattress uses 12.7cm deep air cells to help redistribute pressure across the body, reducing stress on vulnerable areas during extended periods in bed. The system is straightforward to set up and adjust, allowing carers to tailor the pressure settings to the individual user without complex programming. Alternating and static modes are included, alongside a max firm mode that provides a stable surface when required for transfers, repositioning or care tasks.

At the core of the system is SensaCare Truflo Technology®, which continuously monitors and adjusts pressure using an air sensor and microcomputer regulator. This helps maintain ultra low interface pressure, supporting healthy circulation and promoting a more restful sleep. The Ultra Silent™ pump operation reduces noise disruption, making the mattress suitable for overnight use and long term care.

The mattress is supplied with a multi stretch PU cover that is vapour permeable and water resistant, helping manage moisture while maintaining hygiene. The antimicrobial, machine washable cover features a 360 degree zip for easy removal and a white underside to assist with routine checks. Practical safety features include a CPR strap for rapid deflation in emergencies, visual and audible alarms for low pressure and power failure, and a control panel lock to prevent accidental setting changes. Cable management and hanging brackets help keep the pump secure and tidy.
