The Alerta Pearl Airflow Mattress is suitable for home and professional care use where reliable pressure management is required for people assessed as being at medium to high risk of developing pressure ulcers. Designed as a full alternating mattress system, it provides effective pressure relief while remaining straightforward to set up and manage, making it well suited to hospitals, nursing homes and care home environments.

The mattress uses 12.7cm deep air cells to support pressure redistribution across the body, helping reduce stress on vulnerable areas during prolonged periods in bed. An entry level pump controls the alternating cycle and allows carers to set the mattress to an appropriate pressure for each user with minimal adjustment. The system also includes a static mode, which provides a stable surface when required, such as during care tasks or transfers.

Comfort and practicality are enhanced through features such as micro perforated cells to support airflow and a pillow function to maintain head support. Independently removable cells make maintenance and adaptation simpler, while a CPR release allows rapid deflation in emergency situations. The mattress is supplied with a multi stretch PU cover that is water resistant and vapour permeable, supporting moisture control and hygiene. The cover is antimicrobial, machine washable and fitted with a 360 degree zip for easy removal. Anchoring straps help keep the mattress securely positioned, and a zipped storage bag is included for transport and storage.
