The Solacium 1 Airflow Mattress is a dynamic replacement mattress designed for people at very high risk of developing pressure damage. It is suitable for use in both home care and professional care environments where advanced pressure management, comfort, and reliability are required. The design focuses on maintaining consistent support while allowing the body to be gently repositioned through alternating therapy, helping users remain comfortable and settled for longer periods.

The mattress uses 29 dual figure-of-eight air cells, where the upper section of each cell alternates while the lower section remains inflated at all times. This approach helps redistribute pressure while maintaining a stable base, which many users find reassuring and supportive. A removable foam base adds an extra layer of comfort and also provides a static support surface if required. The system is powered by a Solacium pump with automatic weight adjustment and three simple comfort settings, making setup straightforward for carers.
