The elegant, graceful design of the Integrale range is based on classical cutlery shapes and therefore emphasizes the normality of cutlery with only a slightly special appearance. The designer Isabel Heubl developed Integrale with great empathy after extensive studies, working with both Age UK and the NHS, into the circumstances and lifestyle of people with gripping difficulties. Integral combines exceptional design with outstanding functionality.
Specifically designed for the elderly or less able individuals, who may suffer from a range of conditions that have led to a weakened grip, or a limited or resticted range of motion in the wrist, the Integrale range of cutlery has a large rounded handle that fits perfectly into the palm of the hand. This makes it very easy to hold, but also allows it to be used in a wide range of positions, improving control. The elevated handle ensures the cutlery can be picked up easily, whilst the slightly flattened bottom means it stays in place when not in use. to give people with gripping difficulties and limited wrist range of motion more confidence at the table.
Integrale is an addition to the Amefa cutlery series and is produced from the finest quality 18/10 stainless steel, which ensures durability, a beautiful shine and a lasting performance. Integrale is dishwasher safe.

Wright Posted on 23/09/2024 10:16:08I was dubious about the design but it really helps. i can no longer hold a 'normal' knife to cut or spread but the ball handles of these cutlery items allow me to deal with many meals. they take a bit of practice but it is really worthwhile to have some independence.
