This replacement alternating airflow mattress uses a robust cell on cell air system combined with a static base section to deliver reliable pressure redistribution across a wider sleeping surface. The deep airflow cells work dynamically to reduce sustained pressure on vulnerable areas, while the reinforced construction offers reassurance for users requiring higher weight capacities. The system is designed to support both prevention and active management of pressure damage during prolonged bed rest.

The Alerta Bariatric 2 incorporates advanced SensaCare Truflo Technology, which uses constant auto pressure sensing via an air sensor and microcomputer regulator. This allows the mattress to maintain ultra low interface pressure while adapting automatically to changes in position or load. The digital user weight input enables carers to fine tune performance, while the ultra silent pump operation supports rest and recovery without unnecessary disturbance.

Targeted pressure care is provided through an integrated heel function, with three heel cells fitted with one way valves and the option to remove heel cells entirely to create zero pressure beneath the heels. A seat inflation feature offers additional support when the user is positioned upright, improving comfort and posture during meals or care activities.
