The Apollo Morpheus Air Zero Bariatric Hybrid Mattress has been developed for bariatric users who are at very high risk of pressure damage, combining a wider support surface with innovative pressure care technology. It delivers therapeutic immersion without requiring continuous powered operation, making it a practical solution across hospitals, care homes and community care settings.
Built around the same self-adjusting cell technology as the standard Morpheus Air Zero, the bariatric model responds to changes in body position to provide effective pressure redistribution while maintaining excellent comfort and stability. Its extra-wide design offers additional space for bariatric users without compromising the responsive support the mattress is designed to provide.
As care requirements change, the mattress can be upgraded with an optional pump, converting it into a fully dynamic alternating pressure system. This adaptable design allows providers to enhance therapy without replacing the mattress, offering a cost-effective solution as clinical needs evolve.
A multi-stretch, vapour-permeable cover and innovative foam topper work together to minimise shear and friction while supporting skin integrity. Combined with a four-zone pressure management design targeting the heels, sacrum, torso and head, the Apollo Morpheus Air Zero Bariatric Hybrid Mattress delivers dependable pressure care for demanding bariatric environments.
