The Apollo Morpheus Turn Bariatric Dynamic Mattress is designed to provide advanced pressure care for bariatric users at very high risk of pressure damage. Featuring a wider 120cm support surface, it combines alternating pressure therapy with automatic lateral turning to help redistribute pressure, reduce the need for manual repositioning and support comfortable, effective care in hospitals, specialist bariatric units, care homes and community settings.

The programmable turning system provides automatic left and right lateral turning of up to 18°, helping to relieve prolonged pressure on vulnerable areas while reducing the need for frequent manual turning. Caregivers can select full-turn, left-turn or right-turn modes, with adjustable turning intervals from 10 minutes to 4 hours, allowing therapy to be tailored to individual clinical requirements.

The mattress incorporates 27 individual 10cm air cells, delivering both alternating pressure and constant low-pressure therapy. Six dedicated lateral support cells maintain effective turning performance, even when the bed is profiled, while an integrated 5cm foam base provides additional stability and reassurance should the system lose power.

A timed maximum inflate function assists with patient transfers, nursing procedures and other care tasks, while the static head section helps maintain comfort and stability. Power failure and system fault alarms provide additional reassurance by alerting carers if attention is required.
