SPECIAL OFFER dyna form mercury advance hybrid mattress

Product Details

The Dyna-Form Mercury Advance Hybrid Mattress helps prevent and manage pressure ulcers by combining the pressure redistribution of a high-specification foam mattress with the option of powered alternating pressure therapy. Suitable for users at very high risk of pressure ulcer development, it can be used across hospitals, care homes, hospices and community care settings.

One of the key benefits of the Mercury Advance is its ability to switch between high-performance foam support and dynamic alternating therapy without changing the mattress. This allows care to be adapted as a person's condition changes, reducing the need for equipment changes while minimising disruption during treatment.

The mattress features a fixed head section to provide stable support for the head and shoulders, while automatic pressure adjustment continuously adapts the alternating cells to suit the individual's weight. A pressure selection mode allows comfort to be fine-tuned where required, and a static mode can be selected during patient transfers, nursing procedures or routine cleaning.

Manufactured using Orbis™ sustainable foam technology, the mattress incorporates recycled post-consumer mattress materials while maintaining the same pressure care performance. This helps reduce the environmental impact of production without affecting comfort or clinical effectiveness.

The control unit is simple to operate and features clear LED indicators to alert carers if low cell pressure or a system fault is detected. In an emergency, the CPR valve allows the mattress to deflate rapidly, while the vapour-permeable, multi-stretch polyurethane cover helps manage moisture and supports infection control procedures. The cover is removable for cleaning, and the mattress has replaceable components to simplify servicing and extend its working life.
