The Hampton II Active Mattress with Digital Pump is a high-performance pressure care system designed to provide effective pressure redistribution, comfort and support for users with complex care needs. Suitable for use in hospitals, nursing homes and community care settings, it is recommended for individuals at very high risk of developing pressure ulcers and can be used as part of a treatment programme for existing pressure damage up to Stage 4.
The mattress features 20 individual air cells manufactured from durable nylon with a TPU lining. These cells alternate inflation and deflation to redistribute pressure across the body, helping to reduce prolonged loading on vulnerable areas. The TPU lining also helps minimise operational noise, creating a quieter and more comfortable care environment. A dedicated pillow section provides stable head support and enhanced comfort.
The supplied Harvest 250 digital pump offers both alternating pressure and constant low-pressure therapy modes, allowing care providers to select the most appropriate setting for individual requirements. A transport cap enables the mattress to remain inflated for approximately 24 hours when disconnected from the pump, making patient transfers and transport arrangements easier. For emergency situations, a CPR release facility allows rapid mattress deflation when required.
Designed for demanding care environments, the Hampton II features a welded four-way stretch polyurethane cover that is vapour permeable, water resistant and easy to clean. Interchangeable cells simplify maintenance and repairs, while integrated cable management helps maintain a tidy and safe care area.
