The Prime Comfort Active Mattress with Pump 250 combines the proven comfort and support of the Prime Comfort Plus mattress with the added benefits of alternating air cell technology. This versatile design allows care providers to step pressure care up or down as requirements change, offering effective support both with and without the pump connected.
Constructed using a combination of high-quality foam and ten alternating air cells, the mattress provides excellent pressure redistribution for users at very high risk of developing pressure ulcers. Unlike many alternating systems, the mattress continues to provide effective pressure care even when the pump is not in use, thanks to its supportive foam structure and integrated air cell design.
A firm U-shaped high-density foam perimeter helps reduce the risk of rolling from the mattress and provides additional support during transfers. The castellated central foam section improves comfort and pressure distribution while helping to maintain airflow around the user.
The supplied Harvest 250 pump offers a range of therapy modes including alternating pressure, constant low pressure, maximum inflation, comfort adjustment and seated mode. Audible and visual alarms provide additional reassurance by alerting carers to power failure, low pressure or cycle faults.
Designed for both community and nursing care environments, the Prime Comfort Active Mattress is supplied with a fully welded, antibacterial, four-way stretch cover that is water resistant, vapour permeable and easy to clean, supporting effective infection control procedures.
