The Quattro Acute Airflow Mattress is a specialist dynamic pressure care system for highly dependent users with demanding pressure redistribution needs. Available in Narrow, Standard and Long versions, it offers a choice of 1-in-4 Active therapy or Continuous Low Pressure therapy to suit individual care requirements.

During Active therapy, three out of every four cells remain inflated to support 75% of the body while the fourth deflates to redistribute pressure and encourage tissue reperfusion. DEEP CELL THERAPY™ allows the cells to operate at lower internal pressures, while TISSUEgard™ promotes partial immersion and envelopment to help reduce pressure and associated shear forces.

Ortho-Differential Support (ODS) creates firmer outer edges for greater stability during transfers, with a softer central area to accommodate lighter users. Soft, Medium and Firm comfort settings are available alongside a Max-Inflate mode, and there is no stated minimum user weight. All three mattress sizes support users weighing up to 250kg (39 st).

A waterproof, moisture-vapour permeable multi-stretch cover works alongside the mattress's low air loss feature to help manage the skin microclimate. The redesigned control unit has a top-mounted LCD display and easy-touch controls, with fewer crevices and connection points to simplify cleaning. An NFC tag and system information function also provide convenient access to unit and servicing information.

For patient transport, the Quattro Acute can be converted into a static, unpowered support surface for more than 12 hours. This allows the mattress to continue providing support when moving between care areas without remaining connected to the powered control unit.
