The Quattro Plus Nexus Airflow Mattress provides effective pressure redistribution to help prevent and manage pressure ulcers in hospitals, care homes and community care settings. Offering a choice of 1-in-4 alternating pressure therapy or Continuous Low Pressure (CLP), it can be matched to individual clinical requirements.

The mattress uses a cell-on-cell design, which helps maintain support and stability throughout the therapy cycle, reducing the feeling of movement while ensuring pressure is continually redistributed. AUTOsupport™ technology automatically adjusts the pressure within each cell to suit the user's weight and position, helping to provide consistent support without the need for frequent manual adjustments.

Comfort settings can be adjusted in either therapy mode, making it easier to tailor the mattress to individual preferences and encourage longer periods of comfortable use. The control unit also features an auto-lock function to prevent settings from being changed accidentally.

For everyday practicality, Phase Flow™ technology operates the pump only when required, helping to reduce noise and power consumption. Audible and visual alarms alert carers if the system requires attention, while the transport function continues to provide support for up to 12 hours without mains power during patient transfers.

The waterproof, vapour-permeable multi-stretch cover helps create a comfortable sleeping surface while supporting infection control procedures. It can be removed for laundering, and the modular mattress design allows individual components to be replaced or serviced, helping to extend the life of the system and minimise downtime. In an emergency, the integrated CPR function enables rapid deflation for immediate treatment.
