This unique Steelite Crockery is extremely durable and easy to use, making it perfect for use in care homes.
It features deep sides that can be used to push food on to a fork or spoon.
This removes the need to use a knife and allows for one-handed dining.
The wide and shaped rim also makes the Steelite Crockery easy to carry.
It is suitable for both the microwave and the dishwasher.
Medium diameter: 216mm (8 1/2 inches).

I wish we had discovered this product much earlier
Review by C. Renacre Posted on 16/09/2025 22:19:49This product has greatly reduced the food spillage by a parkinson's patient. We have tried clip-on edges around plates before but this plate is easier to use and to be acceptable when in company. I wish we had discovered this product much earlier. -

I have been trying to find a supplier for a while- since his previous plate, a gift from a friend, was broken. They are fairly heavy so they don’t move around the table. The edge is curled to help him get food onto his fork or spoon one-handed. They have an outer rim to catch any stray bits. They are hugely more effective and less obvious in use than the curved plastic shields that clip onto a plate- though they have a place when travelling. I was also delighted with your service. Five stars, easily. -

I like these plates as they are shaped to help with one handed eating, but don't look like special/ clinical products. The heavy duty china looks as close to regular crockery and dad is happy to use them without feeling like he is different. -

The design of the plate means that he can position food next to the edge and push it onto his spoon. The plate looks good and washes well. It was delivered very speedily and the packaging was extremely secure. I rate this plate 5 our of 5. I.wiles.
